Randall and Becky McVey
Dr. Randall McVey grew up in western Kansas. He attended college and dental school at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he earned a B.S. in biology and his D.M.D. (dental) degrees. While in college and dental school he began participating in mission opportunities serving the Cherokee Indian children in Bunch, Oklahoma as a teacher and mentor. He also worked as a short-term missionary in Spain, Mexico, and Chile. After completing dental school, he moved back to western Kansas where he still resides. As a dentist he has done local missions to the people of Southwest Kansas and has traveled to Guatemala, Malaysia, Albania, and Uganda for dental mission outreaches. Dr. McVey serves as the President of the Uganda NOW Outreach board.
Becky McVey received her BA and MA degrees in education from Oral Roberts University, where she also met her husband, Dr. Randy McVey. Becky has pursued her lifelong passion for missions, starting in college with the Cherokee Children Indian Mission and ORU summer mission to Alaskan Native American youth, followed by short term missions in Guatemala, Korea, Malaysia, Albania, Macedonia, and Uganda, and numerous youth mission trips in the U.S. as a youth group sponsor for her church. Becky and Randy have four children, one son-in-law, and two grandchildren. Becky is the office manager for Randy’s dental office, and serves on the Board of Uganda NOW Outreach. They are excited to be a part of the great things God is accomplishing in Uganda!
